All profits of the Fort Moore Thrift Store go to the Spouses' Club to be given back to the Fort Moore community in scholarships and grants.

Donations are taken during opening hours. We also have a bin located just outside the building for after hours donations.

Volunteer at the Thrift Store

Volunteer Position: Customer Service

This position is a fun opportunity to interact with the Thrift Store’s customers. The volunteer will help out wherever needed in the store including helping the cashier remove hangers and bag merchandise. This position may also include putting out newly priced merchandise, interacting with customers, and answering the phone. Interested Volunteers must possess previous thrift shop experience, excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills. The shop’s hours are: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on one Saturday of the month. Volunteers should be able to commit to 2-4 hours each Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or one Saturday of the month.
